Frank Ocean And Brad Pitt Take The Stage In Los Angeles
Brad Pitt was brought on stage at Frank Ocean’s FYF fest this Saturday, and the two have a little bit of history behind this first public encounter. In an interview with GQ in early 2017, Pitt discussed as length his love of Frank’s music and how it helped him through his rough break-up with Angelina Jolie. Fast forward to now, Ocean surprised fans and brought Brad onstage to sing to him, and did a Stevie Wonder rendition of The Carpenters’ “Close to You.”
The Golden Globe winner said about Frank’s music, “I find this young man so special. Talk about getting to the raw truth. He’s painfully honest. He’s very, very special. I can’t find a bad one.” He also reiterated that appreciation of Frank’s music while onstage before being serenaded. The entirety of Mr. Ocean’s set was filmed by Spike Jonze.
