Over 90 People Hospitalized For Turning Up To Much At A Chance Concert
Hot 93.7’s Hot Jam at Xfinity Theatre in Hartford didn’t exactly go as planned for many concert-goers on Friday. Following Chance’s headlining set, more than 90 people were hospitalized, most of them due to excessive amounts of drinking. According to Hartford Deputy Chief Brian Foley, officers on the scene made 50 underage drinking referrals, with a majority of them being issued a court summons.
Foley shared a video on Twitter of the parking lot leading up to the concert, where it is suspected that all of the pre-gaming before the concert and hospitalization took place. Of course, these underage and legal drinkers were not hospitalized due to anything within the Chicago rapper’s control, so nobody is really to blame here beside those drinking without knowing their limits. But, like…who goes to a Chance The Rapper concert to turn up?? How fun is it to be drunk off Lime-A-Ritas when “Ultralight Beam” comes on??? Get your life together, y’all.
