John McCain Diagnosed With Brain Cancer
Senator John McCain is facing a serious illness, but tackling it head-on.
CNN reports that the 80-year-old politician has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor known as a primary glioblastoma. The cancer was confirmed as he had a blood-clot removed from his brain last Friday.
McCain is currently recovering from surgery in his Arizona home and considering treatment options, likely to include radiation and chemo. For the moment, he is reported to have good cognition, no seizures, and no pain associated with the tumor’s presence.
