You ain’t got no job and you ain’t got s* to do!” Do you remember the first time you saw Chris Tucker cut up in Friday, Mike Epps act a fool in Next Friday or Katt Williams get his pimpin’ on in Friday After Next? Well the saga continues and ends with the final chapter coming soon. Ice Cube made an appearance on The Late Show and confirmed that a fourth Friday is coming to a theatre near us.
“We’re working on one right now,” Cube told James Corden, “We’re going to call it Last Friday.”
That’s a clever name, right? The original Friday debuted in 1995 and has been dubbed a classic ever since. John Witherspoon mentioned that there was a fourth film in the works during a radio interview last month, but it’s nice to hear it coming straight from the horse’s mouth. Hopefully, we’ll get to see cast members from all of the Friday’s. Will you be watching?
