Rocko Asks Judge To Set Aside Future’s Tour Earnings

Rocko isn’t quite sure that Future won’t eff up the commas he owes him after raking in the cash from his latest tour…so he’s asking a judge to hold his money to the side.

If you’ll recall, Rocko filed a $10 million lawsuit against Future for breach of their old contract…and won.

Now, Future has a multi-city tour on the way that he’s set to make roughly $5 million from. But Rocko thinks that Future is reckless with cash…and alleges that he’ll be too busy blowing his money on Gucci belts, strippers, and child support payments to make good on the debt he legally owes.

According to TMZ, Rocko is asking the judge to set aside some of Future’s “Nobody’s Safe” tour cash in escrow, just to be sure that he can come through with the cash he’s owed.

Michelle & Barack Obama Rack Up $600,000 Together Per Appearance, Average

It cost as much to book Michelle Obama for a speaking engagement as it is to book former President George W. Bush. According to Axios, who posted the average cost to ‘rent-a-president’ for an appearance. Woo!

It cost exactly double to book her husband, former President Barack Obama. His average booking cost falls around the $400,000 mark. Dang, the Obamas must be racking up. Just last week Michelle Obama appeared at the annual American Institute of Architects conference to speak about her accomplishments, such as the “Let Girls Learn” initiative that is reportedly in jeopardy from the current administration, but also to speak about life after the White House, according to The Grio.

At the event, Michelle said:

“Barack and I have been in public service our whole lives,” she explained. “Public service will always be in our blood.”

And money will always be in the bank! Ka-ching.

Amber Rose is announcing the date for her next "Slut Walk." Amb took to Instagram today to announce that her next protest march calling for an end to rape culture will be in October. She also penned a long message about taking back the power from the derogatory term.

"Most people think the definition of a slut is a promiscuous woman who has sex with any and everyone," wrote Amb. "But that's not the definition at all, it's a derogatory term that insecure men and women use."

Officers Will Not Be Charged For Alton Sterling’s Death

Though this news isn’t at all surprising, it’s definitely disappointing.

The two white police officers who shot and killed Alton Sterling outside a Baton Rouge convenience store will not be charged in connection with his death.

The Department of Justice ruled that Officers Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake will not face any federal charges for shooting Sterling dead while he was unarmed and subdued on the ground.

According to the New York Post, Justice Department officials were planning to announce the findings on an ongoing investigation they had been conducting on the incident within the next 24 hours, but sources leaked the information that they would not be bringing any charges against the officers before they got a chance to let that information out to the public.

Are you at all shocked by the fact that these two killer cops will get to go free and go back to the force as if nothing happened? We aren’t…

Met Gala Photographers Forgot All About Nicki Minaj When Rihanna Stepped On The Carpet?

Rumors are circulating that Nicki Minaj got snubbed on the Met Gala carpet by photographers as soon as Rihanna entered.

The rapper couldn’t get anyone to care enough to want to take her picture after Rih’s entrance. She had to resort to jumping into photos with other, bigger, relevant celebrities to get her photo op. Check out what a witness had to say about seeing her fumble for a  photo.

It seems like Rihanna threw massive amounts of shade at Nicki Minaj when she tried to declare herself ‘best dressed’ at the 2017 Met Gala in an instagram post. Nicki posted the following fan made list about being ‘Best Dressed’ on a list of media outlets. Nicki soon figured out that the list was made up so she deleted it.

 

Rihanna quickly posted her own list of actual media outlets, all praising her.

Dang, Rihanna is the Queen of shade! She added salt to the wound in this next post. She said “when you win the party too”, posting a photo of her chilling at her own Met Gala After Party with Pharrell and his wife.

Barack Obama Proposed To A White Woman Twice Before Michelle

As iconic as Barack and Michelle Obama’s relationship is…a new book is claiming that it’s a union that was thisclose to never even occurring.

According to Washington Post, a new biography is hitting the shelves that details Barack Obama’s drive and ambition before he began running for public office, and the long-term romance with a white woman that suffered because of it.

The new novel, “Rising Star” by David J. Garrow — the same biographer who won a Pulitzer prize for his biography on Martin Luther King — paints a picture of Barack as a man who made many sacrifices to get where he ultimately landed. One of which, his long term serious relationship with a Caucasian woman.

Garrow reveals the story of Barack’s relationship with Sheila Miyoshi Jager for the first time. Sheila and Barack lived together in Chicago in the years before he met Michelle, and asked her to marry him on two different occasions before the couple broke up for good — specifically because Barack knew that he needed to identify as a fully Black man, and having a white spouse would hurt his political prospects.

Obama believed that he had a “calling,” Garrow writes, and in his case it was “coupled with a heightened awareness that to pursue it he had to fully identify as African American.”

A close mutual friend of the couple recalls Obama explaining that “the lines are very clearly drawn. . . . If I am going out with a white woman, I have no standing here.”

Hmmm. Well, everyone has past relationships before they land on “THE ONE.” We’re pretty certain that things shook out the way they were supposed to be.

Chris Rock Opens Up On Infidelity, Divorce

Chris Rock is being brutally honest about his divorce, not only in his latest standup tour, but in a new interview with Rolling Stone.

In the mag, Chris admits that the main reason he and wife of 20 years Malaak Compton Rock split was because of his inability to keep his peen in his pants while on the road making comedy cash.

“I was a piece of sh*t,” he says frankly, during his standup. Chris even gets into the types of women he kicked it with when his wife wasn’t around — “one famous, one semifamous, and one a member of the retail class.” as he described it.

Kind of puts a new light on those Rosario Dawson rumors…doesn’t it?

Rock says that he believed that he could get away with smashing chicks outside of his marriage because he was the famous one, making millions to provide their comfortable lifestyle. But he soon figured out that the exact opposite was actually true.

“That’s bullsh*t,” he says, rolling his eyes. “That actually goes the other way. My faults are magnified. Your significant other, if they really love you, has a high opinion of you. And you let them down.”

At least he can accept blame and see the consequences of his actions clearly. Of course, he also says he would NEVER get married again…so this won’t ever be an issue for any other woman in his life.
