Officer Who Killed Charleena Lyles Stopped Carrying Taser

The Seattle cop who fatally shot Charleena Lyles in front of her children did NOT have a Taser on hand and reportedly stopped carrying it because it “took up too much real estate.”

Officer Jason Anderson left his Taser in his locker, the day he killed pregnant mom of four Charleena Lyles, reports the NYDN who checked the Seattle Police Department’s Force Investigation Team transcripts.

The officer also reportedly said that the gun was too cumbersome to be on his utility belt and he’d never used it, nor witnessed another officer use it.

“I’m a … quite slender guy,” The NYDN reports that Anderson said Wednesday. “I don’t have a lot of room for equipment on my belt.”

On June 18 when Anderson and his partner Officer Steve McNew were called to Lyles’ apartment where Lyles, who had a history of mental illness, approached them with a knife, McNew told Anderson to use the stun gun but he told him he didn’t have a taser.

So instead he pulled out his weapon and fired.

No word yet on what will (if anything) will happen to Anderson but he’s currently under “internal investigation.”

Looks like Khloe Kardashian and her Cavs bae are enjoying the offseason by spending more time together on her turf. The youngest of the Kardashian girls was photographed leaving Nobu in Malibu arm-in-arm with her boyfriend. Khloe has been talking about marriage and kids with Thompson for months now. She’s gonna have to give up the Nobu if he shoots her club up soon.

John McEnroe Says Serena Wouldn’t Be A Top 700 Player Against Men

Hating on Serena Williams has literally become a national pastime in America. Every time she whoops another European azz the bigots, racists, misogynists and outright haters crawl out of the dustiest, mustiest and crustiest corners of the internet to spew hate on Compton’s c-walkin’ champion.

Today, we add to that list of haters tennis great John McEnroe.

During an interview with NPR, McEnroe took a moment to try to knock Serena down a few pegs by essentially quoting Jay Z’s “she’s aaight, but she’s not real” lyric.

Mayo Mc says that if Serena were playing against people with penises, she wouldn’t even be a top 700 player in the world according to RollingStone:

“Well, because if she was in, if she played the men’s circuit, she’d be like 700 in the world,” McEnroe said.

“That doesn’t mean I don’t think Serena is an incredible player,” he continued. “I do, but the reality of what would happen would be I think something that perhaps it’d be a little higher, perhaps it’d be a little lower. And on a given day, Serena could beat some players. I believe because she’s so incredibly strong mentally that she could overcome some situations where players would choke ’cause she’s been in it so many times, so many situations at Wimbledon, The U.S. Open, etc. But if she had to just play the circuit – the men’s circuit – that would be an entirely different story.”

Keke Wyatt recently made good on her promise to shave her head in solidarity with her ailing child. As previously reported the songstress who’s expecting her 9th child recently revealed that one of her other children is battling cancer.

Now she’s showing off a new look; a completely shaved head so her child doesn’t have to feel alone. Unfortunately, she also added that she’s currently feeling “empty.”

BET Pulls Out All Of The Stops To Keep Chris And Karrueche Apart

Karruche has an order of protection keeping Chris Brown off her phone and 100 yards away from her at all times.

But when the budding actress and superstar singer have to be in the same room…it could be a problem.

However, BET made sure to keep all of this straight during Sunday’s award show. Even though both Kae and Breezy had to hit the same stage — at separate times, thankfully — production made sure to adhere to the 100 yard rule so as to keep ~~lawsuits away~~ everyone safe and happy.

Mobb Deep Member’s Homegoing Is This Week In NYC

Prodigy’s camp has announced the funeral details for the veteran New York rapper.

Prodigy, 42, died June 20th in Las Vegas. Although Prodigy – real name Albert Johnson – was known to have suffered sickle cell anemia for years, his cause of death is still not known, according to a rep from the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.

It was discovered recently that at least four of Trump’s golf resorts have framed copies hanging of himself on the cover of Time Magazine. Not only is he “not our president,” he’s not on the cover of the March 1, 2009 issue of Time, either. This fake mag boasts headlines like, “Donald Trump: The ‘Apprentice’ is a television smash!” and “TRUMP IS HITTING ON ALL FRONTS . . . EVEN TV!”….gag

Time Inc spokeswoman Kerri Chyka confirmed that this cover is indeed fake, which was initially noticed due to very poor Photoshop craftsmanship. Nobody knows who created this fake cover…or why they did, since Donald has a number of REAL Time covers already, but unsurprisingly, the White House staff declined any comment.
