Joseline Hernandez Blasts Stevie J Again

Despite their public appearances, Joseline and Stevie J are NOT on good terms. As previously reported although they recently hosted a party at Atlanta’s Gold Room together…

they’re still battling in court for custody of Bonnie Bella.

Now a FED UP Joseline’s putting Steebie on full blast, on Father’s Day at that, for alleged drug use and “pimping.”

“Drug hoes pimps n*** underage drinking, what else,” wrote Joseline Sunday on Instagram. “I feel for my daughter that he is her father.”

Steebie has yet to respond.

This is faaaar from the first time that Joseline’s put him on blast. She also previously posted and deleted accusations of inappropriate behavior with his daughter Eva Giselle.

Kat Graham Says Jada Pinkett-Smith Showed Her Support For Role

Kat Graham walked the carpet at the iHeart Radio Much Music Awards in Toronto this weekend and addressed Jada Pinkett Smith’s recent comments about the “All Eyez On Me” biopic. Graham plays Pinkett in the film. Pinket said Friday that the film was deeply hurtful to her.

Graham told E!News that Jada had previously offered her support on the role.

Graham confessed, “When I first got the role, I reached out to [Pinkett Smith] a year and a half ago…the point of reaching out to her, as well as the other producers on the film, was to insure the integrity of the story and the character.”

The Swiss-born actress added, “I even spoke to her last week and she had nothing but support.”

Graham said of the comments, “I have a lot of love for her. I hope people just see the movie and make the choice for themselves.”

While Jada had harsh words for the film, she did lavish praises on Kat and costar Demetrius Shipp.

Mobb Deep's Prodigy Falls Dead At Age 42

According to Nas, Mobb Deep's Prodigy has passed away at age 42. https://www.instagram.com/p/BVkeVHvAqEs/?taken-by=nas XXL was sent an official statement from Mobb Deep's publicist:

“It is with extreme sadness and disbelief that we confirm the death of our dear friend Albert Johnson, better known to millions of fans as Prodigy of legendary NY rap duo Mobb Deep. Prodigy was hospitalized a few days ago in Vegas after a Mobb Deep performance for complications caused by a sickle cell anemia crisis. As most of his fans know, Prodigy battled the disease since birth. The exact causes of death have yet to be determined. We would like to thank everyone for respecting the family’s privacy at this time.”

For those who weren't aware, Prodigy battled sickle cell anemia since the day he was born. P and his partner, Havoc, became icons of street hip-hop in the early 90s and went on to release records that many consider to be cornerstones of the culture. It's a sad day for hip-hop. R.I.P. Jay Z Is Reintroducing Himself To The Public As…JAY-Z

The rapper formerly know as Jigga, HOV and Sean Carter is updating the way he stylizes his famed moniker by adding a hyphen and spelling it out in all capital letters, according to NY Daily News.

His rep confirmed the name change with the Daily News, and will be used on his yet to be released album, “4:44,” which comes out on his streaming service Tidal on June 30. YEs, he is still JAY-Z, but now you have to slam on that shift key to type it. Are you keeping up?

Only adding to the confusion, JAY-Z promoted his new album on Twitter this week by stylizing his name JAY:Z to match up with the “4:44” title.

It’s a busy week for the billionaire rapper. In addition to this out-of-the-blue name change and new album announcement, his wife Beyoncé gave birth to twins last week in Los Angeles.

Newly Released Dash Cam Footage Of Philando Castile Shooting

We’re gonna go ahead and tell you RIGHT now. This footage is disturbing, enraging, sad and EXTREMELY violent.

It’s going to piss you off.

Today, Ramsey County officials in Minnesota released the dash cam footage from Jeronimo Yanez patrol car. It clearly shows Philando Castile calmly telling Yanez that he had a firearm in the car. It then shows officer Yanez unload a clip into Castile and then you hear the voice of Diamond Reynolds asking Yanez if he just killed her boyfriend, which is the point where most of us began to view her now-infamous Facebook live stream.

Please take extreme caution in viewing this video if you feel it may be triggering.

Naturi Naughton's ESSENCE Magazine Maternity Shoot

Naturi Naughton recently posed for a maternity shoot that was dubbed an "ode to black culture." The "Power" star who's expecting her first child with her longtime love Ben recently shared Afrocentric photos with ESSENCE as she prepares to give birth to her baby girl. The actress who feels "really happy" about her pregnancy told the mag all about the photo shoot and dished on values she plans to instill in her child.

On the photo shoot:

"It’s kind of like our first family photo shoot. I felt gorgeous and he was looking all good, and we just made the best of something that I didn’t even know if it would fit into the schedule. The photographer [Joey Rosado] was so wonderful and he made me feel beautiful, but I feel beautiful every day with my man. He tells me everyday, and he talks to my stomach and we do a little thing where we just have a moment where we’re really appreciative of every blessing. I think the photo shoot captured that love and the love inside of me."

 

On whether or not she feels pressure to get married: 

"I don’t feel crazy pressure anymore. Naturally, the way I grew up and the way I was raised...I didn’t anticipate being pregnant at this time. Of course I wanted to be a mom and have children, but the reality is God’s plan is not always in alignment with my plan. I wanted to do it my way, but it doesn’t always work out that way. I still think I can still have that dream, and I want to be married — and I will — I think we’re just taking it step-by-step and not worrying about what other people’s judgments or thoughts are because at the end of the day, they’re not living for me, or for us."

  On her Afrocentric maternity shoot theme:

"We both just really appreciate Black culture. Ben wore a shirt from Ghana and my theme was “It takes a village to raise a child” for my baby shower. We just always try to incorporate African proverbs or Kente cloth or using different images to celebrate this beautiful Black girl that’s coming into the world. I think in society we get so caught up trying to assimilate and be like other people, but in reality what we feel is that we just want to celebrate who we are."

  On what she plans to impart to her daughter:

"Everything that my parents imparted to me. When I was coming up we didn’t have the movement of Black Girl Magic or Black Girls Rock, but my parents made it their business to make sure I saw positive images of myself and celebrated images of Black women. I want to implement those same things but thank goodness today there’s a movement that celebrates all of our hues, our shades, our beauty, our lips, our noses--there’s a celebration surrounding Black women. I grew up with insecurities about those things because people made fun of my complexion or made fun of how big my lips were when I was a kid. Even when I was a professional singer, I went through things in 3LW that really weighed on my self-esteem. I’m just sick of it. Thank God, now we have a time where we can make sure these girls know how beautiful they are, how special they are, and how worthy they are."

Viola Davis and her hubby are celebrating over a decade of blissful beautiful black matrimony-dom. The Oscar winner, 50, and her hubby Julius Tennon, 62, who first wed in 2003 are marking 14 years of coupledom and Viola couldn’t be happier.
